~ Peter Fagan ~ ~ Brodie (Colourway) ~
This bear is part of the Teddy Collection and measures approximately 2¾ inches tall. Originally issued in 1991 and retired in 1995, this piece features a bear that for many years was the personal mascot of a young Lieutenant Colonel in the Coldstream Guards and spent much of his life in the Scottish Borders. He then went to London and had a long spell in the barracks near Buckingham Palace. When his friend and colleague eventually retired from the service, Brodie enjoyed a number of adventures in the city before meeting Peter at a sale auction. This version is a Colourway that was produced for a two-day shop promotion in November 1994 to celebrate the centenary of Henry Clark Ltd. Brodie was created with a blue scarf and the name of the store. The scarf is usually grey. We have many other items in our Ebay Shop, Click here to see what we have.
