This piece has been originally hand sculpted by artist Peter Fagan who is more than an artist. He is also a collector. Peter shares his collections by modelling perfect miniatures of those that are close to his heart. This Colourbox piece is part of the Centimental Bear Collection and measures approximately 2¾ inches tall. Originally issued in 1994, this piece features two bears from the Teddy Collection, Christopher and Gustav Von Bruin. Both of these bears have fascinating stories, Gustav lived in a school of music in Austria and Christopher had his home on an old Irish tugboat. The universal symbol of love and kindness is the teddy bear and these two bears are seen here embracing a cushion inscribed with the words - Bears Mean Love.
