Made of cold cast resin and hand painted in Scotland, this Colour Box piece has been originally hand sculpted by artist Peter Fagan who is more than an artist. He is also a collector. Peter shares his collections by modelling perfect miniatures of those that are close to his heart. This Colourbox piece is part of the Teddy Collection and measures approximately 2 inches tall. Originally issued in 1990 and retired in 1993, this piece features a bear from the Teddy Collection called Sopwith. Action in the heavens is what excites Sopwith most. He still feels a thrill when he hears the roar of an aeroplane engine. His memories of the Royal Flying Corps are still fresh in his mind and the magic of old bi-planes will never fade for this special aviator bear.
