~ Peter Fagan ~ ~ Theodore’s Pastimes ~
Made of cold cast resin and hand painted in Scotland, this Colour Box piece has been originally hand sculpted by artist Peter Fagan who is more than an artist. He is also a collector. Peter shares his collections by modelling perfect miniatures of those that are close to his heart. This Colourbox piece is part of the Teddy Collection and measures approximately 3½ inches tall. Originally issued in 1990, this piece features Theodore, the oldest bear in the Colour Box Collection. He was auctioned at Christie’s by his owner specifically to raise money for the charity Research Into Ageing. Inspired by this generosity, Peter Fagan decided to sculpt a piece featuring Theodore and donate 15% of all sales to this charity. A cheque for £1500 was sent to them. This piece was made exclusively as a Collectors Club offer and was only available through the club office. There is also a cat on this piece from the Home Sweet Home range.
