~ Peter Fagan ~ ~ Tick Tock Ted ~
Made of cold cast resin and hand painted in Scotland, this Colour Box piece has been originally hand sculpted by artist Peter Fagan who is more than an artist. He is also a collector. Peter shares his collections by modelling perfect miniatures of those that are close to his heart. This piece is part of the Teddy Collection and measures approximately 1½ inches tall. Originally issued in 1991 and retired in 1995, this piece features bear that lived with Professor Kasselhof who was an expert horologist. There were so many clocks in the house where he lived that there was very little room for anything else. The house rang every quarter of an hour with a mixture of bells, gongs and pretty tunes. But it was the hourly stroke that really shook the foundations, as the clocks never told the exact time and the striking bells seemed to ring out for several minutes. Tick Tock Ted also appears on the limited edition piece Trunk Of Teddies, Lap Of Honour and also dressed up as a clown on the Collectors Club piece Opening Night.
